Kali is a free, offline environmental chatbot built for Filipinos who want quick, practical answers about plants, sustainability, and everyday eco-living. It runs entirely in your browser, no account, no data collection, no cloud servers. It is part of an environmental protection project by the Rotary Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime, developed by Michael Musni.

Why Kali is different

Unlike large AI chatbots that run on power- and water-hungry data centers, Kali is a lightweight rule-based assistant that runs on your own device. It's not a general-purpose AI, it's a focused tool for one purpose: helping ordinary Filipinos live a little greener.

When you're online and Kali doesn't know something, it may fetch a short summary from Wikipedia so you still get an answer. Health questions are never looked up online. Everything else stays on your device.

A project of the Rotary Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime

Kali was created by Michael Derwin Musni, Club President, under Rotary International District 3810 (District Governor Maria Rosa "Bing" N. Carrion, 2026–2027, theme Create Lasting Impact). The club has planted over 10,000 trees and runs Eco-Alliance: The Clean-Up Initiative and Project E.D.U.C.A.T.E.
